Country House Kent

This project involved the lengthy restoration and conversion of a series of historic buildings, built around the original early C18 house with older structures to the rear.

The house required full restoration, reinstating the second floor and reconfiguring internal spaces. A new extension created a glazed link between the house and the adjacent ragstone barn to create a large house with extended accommodation. The Barn provided a ‘shell’ for a contemporary interior creating triple height and mezzanine spaces in distinct contrast to the historic fabric of the house and barn.

The project also included designing a cinema room, swimming pool, pool house and surrounding landscaping / tennis court.
