This is a new five-bedroom house set within a one-acre site in the tightly controlled AONB and Green Belt.

The house offers a modern and rigorously detailed interpretation of Kent vernacular architecture based upon a traditional Kent Hall house with cross wings incorporating a full oak frame.

The principle materials are sourced locally. Ground source heating and solar collectors allow the house to function almost entirely off-grid.
